The Payam Network, Iran’s teletext service, was launched in 1995. It was in English at first, but after creating new fonts, software and decoders, it was launched in Farsi three years later. It was shut down in 2015, according to this.

Square kufic, meaning:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

الْحَمْدُ للّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ و إِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ

اهدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ المُستَقِيمَ

صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنعَمتَ عَلَيهِمْ غَيرِ المَغضُوبِ عَلَيهِمْ وَ لاَ الضَّالِّينَ
